| Here are some photos from our Under the Tuscan Sun Adventure Tour: September 2004. Three days in Rome and a week in Tuscany at the Villa Montestigliano. We plan to return to Tuscany with another group of garden lovers in September 2006. Contact me by e-mail if you would like more information about our next Italy trip. | |||||||||||

The front of the villa at Montestigliano. This is still the home of the family that owns the 500 acres of olive and grape orchards. | ||||||||||
| A visit to The Vatican Gardens in Rome showed the colors of the Swiss Guards. | |||||||||||
The outer courtyard at the Villa. We dined in this building that was once a grain house and met most afternoons in the sunshine of this courtyard that overlooked the valley below. |

Just another great dinner at a local Tuscan Restaurant. |

Le Antiche Terme Di Diana: a beautiful restaurant, Tivoli - Roma. The building was actually an ancient Roman structure, a thermal complex and a temple dedicated to the Goddess Diana, dated to the year 376 BC. |

And here we are having a wonderful dinner just like the Romans did years ago. |
Joe, Allen, and Ginny in a formal Tuscan garden, complete with a chapel that the family has used for several generations. |
Tuscany is known for their beautiful ceramics, and we just happen to find this shop on our way to a winery. |
Dick and Pat Miller at the ruins of the Coliseum. (a pretty good photo back drop) |
Water fun with one of the statues at Tivoli Fountains. Can you see the Italian resemblance? |
